Amaranth: The Preterhumans Book 1 is still holding steady on Amazon. I've even seen it on a few bookshelves, and it can even be ordered through your local "brick and mortar" bookstore now.

With July gone, another of the so-called "writing months" has passed: JulNoWriMo this time. This time last year, I thought I would be working on later books in The Preterhumans series this time, Azure or Carmine maybe. But given circumstances out of my control, I have put that series on indefinite hold.

Instead I'm working on a new urban fantasy series called The Seekers. I'm a little over 50,000 words (or 120 pages) into the first book of this series, for now called Biscayne Beginnings. There aren't exactly a lot of urban fantasy taking place in the Southeastern United States -- and especially not in Florida. Well, this one does. I have at least three books plotted in the series, with hopes for further ones.

So wish me luck with finishing BB and getting it sold!
